EVALUATION POST

As we have informed in the CSR assessment details to make a presentation about VR The Teacher told us to create a Gantt chart using monday.com so we found out that monday.com is not totally free so we created a Gantt chart using Excel. However, the first task we did as a group was creating a Gantt chart to organise our presentation process. 

This Gantt Chart is created by Excel so we divided the presentation work i took the first part introduction and advantages and disadvantages. Nancy took the second part and Mandip handled the last part, so it shows that we divided the work into sections A, B,C after planning and research distribution, after each section we set a meeting in the library to plan and research more so in each section has a start and a deadline to complete it so as you see in my section I finished all my research a week before the presentation followed by two other group meeting. 

we made this Gantt chart to track our making PPT processes in the middle of lots of assignments creating  this Gantt chart 

Creating this Gantt chart came with many benefits such as learning how to create it using Excel also this tracking work system helped me my group finish the presentation in time with good research and in preparation for our meeting. As a result, during the presentation date, my group performed as we wanted and expected.

The first step in creating this PowerPoint is to create the content in an understandable way and a logical order my part in this presentation is to search about virtual reality to find a good definition and find the advantages and disadvantages so basically I covered 2 main parts.

in this slide, i was told to deliver and research for a good definition of the topic and its brief history as to answer also why i researched for this topic and what we hope to achieve so i did research about all these three questions.

 This screenshot shows that i created a slide to talk about advantages and disadvantages so i found three advantages of virtual reality with three references also i found three disadvantages of this technology with academic references.

In order to create this ppt we used PowerPoint app to find resources we used Google Scholar for reliable sources, and we used Montserrat ExtraBold font also as transitions between slides we used MORPH transition, also the ppt slides contrasted in colours so we used dark colour with gold colour. 

the process of creating this ppt was smooth because of the management tool that we use and by our meetings and efforts as a team a the process became easy.

To conclude: 

The process of making this ppt has been according to our expectations with the help that we got because of creating the Gantt chart and the instructions of the tutor about how to create correct ppt slides.

Virtual Reality is a rapidly developing technology within the research i did found out that VR as a technology field Combines knowledge from many fields as well this technology has many applications in many fields such as medicine education entertainment and gaming applications, In my point of view this technology in future will revolutionise many fields also non technology fields .

As we discussed this topic together and from the secondary research about how this technology affects a big part of the entertainment and gaming industry as these two fields have a huge interest that big companies challenging each other to be part of developing this interesting technology by creating the primary research it helps us to know categories of people and which generation are interested in this technology also to know if individuals used it or not finally the opinion about the VR and its possible positive and negative impacts.

From this current issue, i learned how technology such as virtual reality is a technology that takes us directly 20 years further because of its variant applications in all fields i can say that this technology has positive points more than negative points.

If i do this project again i will change the way of creating the Gantt chart by finding a tool that i can use it always to manage my time better also i would change a topic that is always in development such as virtual reality also in terms of researching i have to find sites like google scholar to extract more pieces of information also in group work next time i want to add online meeting threw for example any desk or google meet and include it in the gantt chart as a second way of communicating between group members.

From this project, i have learned many skills such as computing skills and communication skills and how to work with a group effectively also i learned how to create a Gantt chart for time management and organising the project process also i learnt how to create Gantt chart using EXCEL  also how to create correct academic PowerPoint threw following tutor guidance step by step from how to write in the slide to add transitions and colours combinations also i found a very useful website to cite and piece f information
